Our Besties and Beer/ Meet the Brewer event last night (August 16) was totally toast worthy (which we did plenty of! 🍻) we had the best time recording a special edition of the #prettyinpasadenapodcast with our friends Mike and Jose (one of the masterminds behind their delicious 22nd anniversary beer) from Stone Brewing at Stone Company Store – Pasadena! It was such a treat to chat all things beer, learn about the 22 year history of Stone and how to pair beers with food, sample some incredible beers (we learned from the Pro’s exactly how to taste beer, and we are passing that knowledge on to you in the podcast) and so much more! We are SO grateful that so many of our friends (old and new ones we just met last night) and neighbors in the community came out to support, meet the brewer, and enjoy some awesome beer with friends! Thank you for helping make this event a great success! .
Thank you to the entire team at Stone Pasadena and Stone Brewing for having us, and of course to Mike and Jose for taking the time to talk to us and create such a great event with us! Thank you to all who attended for your generous support of Five Acres during this event! Thank you to AEA Ribbon Mics for sponsoring our microphones for this podcast! Thank you to Becca Reed for your social media support! Thank you to our husbands (Taylor Mize and Walter Simonsen) for always being our grips, photographers, engineers and for all of your never ending support! Thank you to all of our friends who came out to be part of this event that we worked hard on. It made us so happy to see each and every one of you (and for those we didn’t get to talk to: we saw you and we love you!) Thank you to those of you who came up to us and introduced yourselves! Pretty in Pasadena is all about supporting each other in the community, and we are so excited to keep on doing just that! 🍻CHEERS!🍻
